ASRs will gain first-hand exposure to the medical sales industry and life as a medical sales rep with Empire Medical / Arthrex. ASRs will work with multiple sales teams in hospitals and surgery centers throughout North Orange County, Inland Empire, or Coachella Valley. Daily activities will include the studying and mastery of Arthrex products and procedures, providing surgical support, solving real-time problems, and managing inventory. Empire Medical / Arthrex is a fast-growing company, successful ASRs will be eligible for promotion to a Sales Representative on a specific sales team when a position becomes available. After promotion to Sales Representative, the ASR may be required to relocate closer to their defined territory in order to provide the best possible service to our customers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent Empire Medical / Arthrex Inc by working in a fast-paced environment with teammates & a sophisticated audience comprised of healthcare
  • Support the team as they develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales objectives for the
  • Support current sales team daily logistics for surgery, including transporting surgical supplies to and from hospitals and surgery centers
  • Maintain confidentiality of Empire Medical and patient/account information as well as following company policies &
  • Work with Sales Manager or teammates to receive regular training/coaching.
  • Maintain independent study to learn Arthrex products and
  • Potentially attend sales meetings outside of the regular business
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, unless prior medical device or surgical technician experience
  • Prior experience in the orthopedic industry is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Aptitude for highly technical medical information, anatomy, as it relates to surgical procedures and equipment
  • Adaptable to fast paced environments / strong sense of urgency
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room
  • Must be willing to acquire necessary training and vaccinations in order to access Operating Rooms
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Access to your own transportation
