Description

The Executive Assistant will help with the administration of the day-to-day operations of CMT’s Human Resources department and executive leadership. The Executive Assistant is crucial in helping the company achieve daily and annual people goals and accomplish organizational goals by supporting executive leadership.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assists with recruitment and hiring process tracking.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire and day one employee orientation.
  • Oversees employee credentialing and compliance documentation.
  • Supports Director of HR in maintaining up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. May include performing periodic audits of HR files and compliance records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Organizes, compiles employee-related social media announcements and internal company newsletters on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials.
  • Oversees ordering of company products, such as Arthrex promos and apparel.
  • Provides overall clerical support to the HR department and executive leadership.
  • Assists with billing, Invoicing and Daily uploads
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in related field required.
  • Prior related office experience preferred.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
