True North Surgical is a Medical Device Company that exclusively represents Arthrex products in Northern Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and a portion of Eastern Minnesota. We are committed to helping our surgeons treat their patients better.

Arthroplasty Product Manager will focus on implants/instruments of Arthrex’s knee, hip arthroplasty and shoulder arthroplasty and fracture line of products. They are to achieve monthly and annual predetermined Arthroplasty quotas.  This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio in all Arthroplasty related products. This position requires a high level of technical information, anatomy and sales ability as it relates to arthroplasty surgery and procedures. The Arthroplasty Product Manager will spend the majority of time in sales calls and surgery interacting with field reps, OR staff and surgeons. This position mandates strong time management skills, established sales skills, and ability to manage surgical equipment and inventory. It is critical that he/she be a confident, highly motivated individual who places top priority on exceeding revenue goals. This role demands strong leadership and requires the professional to set him or herself as an example for all team members to follow.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following list. Additionally, demonstrating an adherence to, and mentoring of, the True North Surgical culture is of the most importance. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is meeting and exceeding sales quotas and objectives for the agency.
  • Set sales strategy for agency Arthroplasty business. Follow up with representatives, leadership, and Arthroplasty Regional Manager frequently to ensure the strategy is being executed. When needed identify weaknesses and offer evidence-based solutions.
  • Maximize training to ensure growth and competency of product line for all agency personnel.
  • Launch Arthroplasty new products within agency. Re-launch when necessary.
  • Responsible for being the main technical expert for all items within Arthroplasty.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
  •  
  • Strategically identify customer needs and work to price options and solutions - selling the value of the many solutions Arthrex has to offer. Creatively building quotes to meet the needs of the account.
  • Training representatives on Arthroplasty products and sales cycle as needed.
  • Collecting key competitive information and ensuring that knowledge drives both sales effectiveness and product development direction.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership in guiding and engaging the audience

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (Business Management, Sales, Health Administration, Kinesiology, Medical Sciences, Biology, etc.)
  • Experience as a representative in the orthopedic industry
  • 2+ years’ experience with Arthroplasty
