About the role:

The Trauma Manager will lead, manage, and hold the sales force within the Foundation Medical territory accountable for the success of the Arthrex Trauma product portfolio year over year.  In this role you will be responsible for maintaining expert product knowledge of our Trauma Portfolio and ensuring Trauma sales quotas are being managed and achieved on an annual basis.  You’ll do this by utilizing the CRM and Sales reporting tools provided by Arthrex, establishing effective communications with employees, ensuring there is a proper level of engagement from territory representatives, holding regular meetings with trauma accountable reps to establish goals and ensure those goals elicit appropriate action each week.  You will also be responsible for maintaining customer relationships and establishing new relationships through regular communication and in-person appointments with customers.  This role demands strong leadership and requires the professional to set him or herself as the example for all team members to follow. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work within an assigned geographic sales area and develop/manage specific plans to maximize sales revenues, meet sales quotas and other trauma initiatives.
  • Main point of contact and technical expert for all Trauma products in the portfolio
  • Develop, coach and mentor sales team:
  • Monitors and assists in the activities related to Trauma within Territories (i.e., trains, coaches, motivates, engagement in sales planning and sales calls, etc.).
  • Help negotiate sales terms pre-approved by the Regional Director and Owners.
  • Utilization of CRM tools to track and manage category performance
  • Manage and develop key account and customer relationships
  • Work closely with Arthrex Regional and Product Management to ensure that Corporate and Agency Initiatives are communicated and carried out
  • Plan and host surgeon & staff training events at the Foundation Medical Education Center
  • Assist in planning and hosting Agency wide trauma meetings.
  • Main point of contact for all Trauma RFP’s within Foundation Medical territory
  • Attend surgeries to provide technical expertise and guidance to surgeons and OR staff
  • Travel to Arthrex Headquarters in Naples, FL for personal trainings and assist with customer trainings and events
  • Requires travel 3+ days out of the week and occasionally work on weekends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 3+ years Trauma product sales experience.
  • Effective management skills with ability to manage the company’s sales operations. 
  • Effective time management, communications, decision making, presentation, and organization skills. 
  • Professional appearance and presentation required.
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects & tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment
  • Shows initiative – regularly engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities
  • Strong ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members
