The SpeedBridge double-row technique is used to repair a rotator cuff tear using a fully threaded SwiveLock® anchor combined with FiberTape® suture to create a quick and secure construct with no knots and only 2 suture-passing steps. The result is a low-profile, transosseous-equivalent SutureBridge™ repair that enhances footprint compression to maximize contact between tendon and bone. The SpeedBridge double-row technique uses FiberTape suture with 3 times the contact area compared to a standard #2 FiberWire® suture.1 It provides a broad footprint which can be helpful for repairs in degenerative cuff tissue where tissue pull-through may be a concern.
