MarComm Employees Uplifted by Volunteer Day Experience

The Marketing Communications Support Solutions team recently participated in Arthrex’s Volunteer Match Day employee benefit, donating their time to brighten the day for patients at the Golisano Children’s Hospital in Ft. Myers.

Eliana Lopez, Alyssa Gamez, Karen Hazell and Emily Helter set up a variety of arts and craft stations for the children to paint, read and make bracelets and bouncy balls.

Painting“The hospital staff and children were so appreciative that we took time out to volunteer and donate all unused arts and crafts supplies to the hospital so other children could enjoy them as well,” said Marketing Communications Associate Karen Hazel. “It felt like a holiday and some children asked if the team would be back the next day. We left the children’s hospital feeling inspired and plan to make another visit.”

Marketing Communications Associate Emily Helter agreed, “Being able to make a child's day just a little bit brighter was extremely rewarding and uplifting. I am grateful that Arthrex allows us to take the time to give back to our community.”
