Arthrex Hosts Students for Junior Achievement Class Visit
On Friday, May 11, 2012, Arthrex hosted 70 middle school students from Oak Ridge Middle
School as part of Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida’s class mentoring
program and curriculum. Arthrex
employees from different departments presented the students with job-specific
information, career advice, hands-on interactions, and a question and answer
session. A representative from Human
Resources also presented on the various career opportunities at Arthrex, the
requirements of various professions and industries, and the skills that will
make them valuable assets to future employers.
As part of our commitment to education and the community, Arthrex is pleased to support educative programs that create a bridge between the classroom and the workplace, and provide our future workforce with positive experiences to learn and grow. During their visit, the students also received an engaging, hands-on tour of Arthrex’s manufacturing facilities.
