Arthrex Sets the Gold Standard for Workplace Health

We’re excited to announce the American Heart Association has recognized Arthrex as a Gold-level company in its Workplace Health Achievement Index, making it one of the nations healthiest companies. The index evaluates companies taking significant steps to build a culture of health in the workplace, like Arthrex, by measuring seven organizational best practices: leadership, reporting outcomes, programs, policies and environment, partnerships, engagement and communications as well as a scientific assessment of the heart health of employees.

Wellness Coordinator Monica Dubroja attributes this substantial achievement to employee engagement in the comprehensive wellness program and incentives. Walking challenges, healthy lunch options, easy access to wellness resources, on-site lab draws and preventative screenings have helped motivate employees to make healthy changes.

NicoleRandle Wellness Medical Assistant Nicole Randle didn’t just talk the talk, she walked the walk by demonstrating just how these wellness initiatives can make a difference. Arthrex’s adoption of the Blue Zones program inspired Nicole to reevaluate her own lifestyle and make healthy changes to her family’s daily routine. Nicole explained that after just four months of diet changes and walking as a family, they noticed major improvements in both their physical and emotional health. She added, “I feel better than I ever have in my life!”
