Retrograde Drilling for Talus Lesions

The GPS Targeting Drill Guide, which was developed to complement the Ankle Arthroscopy Instrument Set, enables precise placement of K-wires for ankle arthrodesis and a multitude of other applications. Additionally, the drill guide can be used for effective retrograde drilling of osteochondral lesions.

The guide's sturdy but lightweight aluminum frame allows for precise rotation and telescoping, enabling pinpoint placement of 1.1 mm, 1.6 mm, and 2.4 mm K-wires. A multitude of drill patterns can be achieved using either the single or quad bore guide sleeves for the 1.1 mm and 1.6 mm K-wires. Finally, hard-to-reach areas in the curved talus are easily positioned using either the straight indicator tip or the curved talar dome indicator.
