Hallux Varus Correction Using the Forefoot InternalBrace™ Ligament Augmentation System

Arthrex presents the Forefoot InternalBrace™ ligament augmentation system designed for use in an array of forefoot procedures. This specific technique animation highlights usage of the implant system in treating hallux varus deformity. The hallux varus technique allows for a knotless, lowprofile fixation option using FiberTape® suture and two tenodesis screw implants.

The InternalBrace surgical technique is intended only to augment the primary repair/reconstruction by expanding the area of tissue approximation during the healing period and is not intended as a replacement for the native ligament. The InternalBrace technique is for use during soft tissue-to-bone fixation procedures and is not cleared for bone-to-bone fixation.
