FibuLock^® PRO Fibular Nail

Backed by years of literature, fibular nailing is the new “gold standard"¹ to treating all fractures of the ankle. The FibuLock nail is a load-sharing device that is inserted through a small incision to stabilize the fracture during healing. This minimally invasive technique reduces wound complications, preserves soft tissue, and is indicative of lower overall complication rates.² The FibuLock PRO fibular nail is an improved solution that provides surgeons with more options for treating ankle fractures. Longer-length nails, headless screws, additional fixation capabilities as well as modular instrumentation are included of the new systematic design. Additionally, the new nail offers a way to obtain and maintain length intraoperatively. Lastly, our novel proximal talons open 12% wider than the FibuLock 1.0 nail³ thus providing more robust fixation and rotational control.
