A Cross-Country Trip of a Lifetime

SnowTubing

We’re excited to highlight another employee’s Trip of a Lifetime! Suture Production Coordinator Autumn Forrest shares a few of the highlights from her family road trip to Colorado:

RedRocksAmphitheater“For my five-year Arthrex anniversary, my family and I went on a road trip to Denver, Colorado. We drove through 13 states on the way there and back, 11 of which we had never visited. During the road trip, we stopped to eat at restaurants featured on the Food Network. We were able to try so many amazing dishes, like a delicious southern breakfast at the Silver Skillet in Atlanta and authentic Mexican sopapillas in Tampa. In Colorado we visited the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The view was incredible. Next, we went to Fraser, Colorado to snowtube in the mountains, which was the highlight of the trip for all of us. My husband and stepchildren had never seen snow before! On the way back we stopped and stayed in the Historic King Edward Hotel in Jackson, Mississippi. The shrimp and grits at the hotel restaurant were the best we’ve ever had. My entire family is still talking about how great the trip was. I cannot thank Arthrex enough for the opportunity to take this trip with my family!”

For every five years of employment with Arthrex, employees are eligible for a company-paid Trip of a Lifetime to recognize their dedication. So far, employees have traveled to more than 20 countries as part of the Trip of a Lifetime program.
