Facility Expansion Continues at Arthrex Manufacturing East

ArthrexFinishingFacilitySite preparation has begun on what will soon become the newest addition to Arthrex's family of facilities in Southwest Florida – a state-of-the-art "finishing" facility at Arthrex Manufacturing East (AMIE). This facility will allow Arthrex to complete the finishing stages of surgical device manufacturing, packaging and sterilization in Collier County, FL.

This expansion project serves as another testimony of Arthrex's commitment to Southwest Florida through continued investment in facility expansion and job creation. The 54,000-square-foot building will take 12-15 months to complete and will bring approximately 30 new jobs to the local community.

"This new facility will increase our total campus space to close to 1,000,000 square feet and help accelerate our job creation forecast to over 2,000 Arthrex employees in Southwest Florida by the end of the year," said President and Founder Reinhold Schmieding.
