Arthrex's Support Impacts Many Facets of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida
Arthrex has
donated $50,000 to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida for education
outreach. This money will enable
Conservancy environmental education experts to reach more schools to teach our
next generation of environmental leaders about the area’s unique national
treasures.
In addition,
Arthrex has committed to a partnership agreement, providing the new von Arx
Wildlife Hospital with much-needed surgical products and equipment from its Vet
System division, to help injured wildlife.
“We are
proud to support and partner with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida as the
organization’s mission aligns well with Arthrex’s overall commitment to the
health and well-being of our community,” said Kathy Sparrow, vice president of
Human Resources and a member of the Arthrex Charitable Gifts Committee.
In early
2012, Arthrex also supported the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s volunteer
program by hosting more than 180 volunteers at their corporate headquarters for
a “welcome back” event.
The
Conservancy of Southwest Florida was founded in 1964 by a small group of
concerned citizens fighting to protect the beauty of our region. Today it has grown to be one of Florida’s
largest and most respected environmental organizations.
