Chris Peruski's Alaskan Adventure

In celebration of five years at Arthrex, Data & Analytics Team Lead Chris Peruski and his wife enjoyed an Alaskan cruise for his first Trip of a Lifetime, courtesy of the renowned Arthrex employee benefit. The cruise went to five spectacular locations:

  • Seattle, Washington

  • Ketchikan, Alaska

  • Juneau, Alaska

  • Skagway, Alaska

  • Victoria, British Columbia

The cruise began in Seattle, where Chris and his wife did a tasting tour of Pike Place Public Market and visited the Space Needle. After departing Seattle, they began their journey to the Alaskan destinations. They saw the Dawes Glacier, as well as the Sumdum, Mendenhall and Davidson Glaciers.

“The Alaskan landscapes sites were breathtaking,” Chris said. “We now know the difference between a cascade and a waterfall. We saw that a common way to travel is on a float plane and that life can be really rustic in Alaska’s smaller communities.”

Chris and his wife went on various excursions such as halibut fishing, whale watching and nature sightseeing. One of the highlights of their trip was trying the delicious king crab legs.

“Hopefully, we’ll make it back and visit different parts of Alaska including Denali National Park,” he said. “I am so grateful to Arthrex for helping make this trip a reality.”

For every five years of employment with Arthrex, employees are eligible for a company-paid Trip of a Lifetime to recognize their dedication.
