Employee Spotlight: Abigail Nabors - Inspiring Future Engineers
In May, Research Associate Abigail Nabors had the opportunity to volunteer in a second grade classroom, assisting the students with an engineering project in which they built a weather vane complete with moving parts. Abigail also participated in an “Ask Me Anything” session about life as an engineer and received many interesting questions from the students.
"The class asked me if I've used a 3D printer and what I have made on it, which was a surprising question from a class that young," shared Abigail. "Apparently, the elementary school has its own 3D printer. I can definitely say that they are a curious bunch!"
Abigail also recently presented about Arthrex to several groups of students at St. John Neumann High School’s Career Day in Naples, FL. She shared with the students what she does as an engineer and what opportunities are available in the field and at Arthrex.
"The students said it was the best career day thus far!"
