Corkscrew® FT

The fully threadedCorkscrew® family of suture anchors was designed for maximum fixation strengthand simple insertion. An internal drive mechanism is combined with a uniqueFiberWire® suture eyelet to allow for continuous threads along the entirelength of the anchor. This design allows the anchor to be inserted flush withthe cortical bone surface providing excellent fixation strength and stability whilepreventing the anchor “pull-back” effect that can occur in conventional anchorswith protruding eyelets. The internal drive configuration allows for highinsertion torque and the suture eyelet self-aligns to eliminate the need forspecific eyelet orientation at the tissue edge. The anchors are double ortriple-loaded with FiberWire suture to provide the best possible combinationfor superior repair strength.
