Description

The Extremity & Trauma Manager for Eclipse, representing Arthrex, Inc., works firsthand with surgeons in the operating room and with their team consulting on the safe and effective use of Arthrex implants and instruments. The position is located in the geography including Eastern PA, Northern Delaware and Southern New Jersey.  

Essential job functions include effectively managing a team and attaining quota by assisting in sales, representation, and technical support on products that include, but are not limited to: Distal Extremity (soft tissue, bone, trauma, positioning products for the elbow, wrist, hand, foot, and ankle), Biologics (allograft materials for bone and soft tissue substitution, augmentation, and plasma rich protein products for indicated use throughout the body).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Represent Eclipse, an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience composed of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships and by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
  • Responsible for demonstrating and conveying the proper use and application of Arthrex products and surgical techniques to surgeons, medical staff, and other pertinent facility personnel.
  • Actively support Representatives with case coverage in the field across territories.
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
  • Attends sales meetings, medical education trainings, applicable sales functions and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
  • Must be able to travel within assigned territory as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years distal extremities and/or trauma sales experience
  • Must live in, or be willing to relocate to, an address within our geographic coverage area
  • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology and knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market
  • Demonstrated history of quota achievement

 

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 40pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods of time
