Our company is looking for a tenured expert to serve as Vice President of Sales. The Vice President of sales provides leadership, direction and resource stewardship to the organization's sales function. As the senior-most sales leader, the VP of sales is accountable for overall sales organization performance, achievement of sales organization goals and for aligning sales objectives with business strategy. The ideal candidate is equally talented working with numbers and people. They should have a strong record of closing high-profile deals and several years of experience working with health care facility administration along with surgeon customers in the operating room.

The vice president will be responsible for driving sales across all areas of Sioux Surgical and will report directly to the agency owner.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and foster a culture of success and perpetual goal
  • Direct, manage and execute new business development opportunities, establish key strategic relationships to maintain and expand opportunities, understand market dynamics and respond to meet customer needs. Lead, coach and motivate the sales staff to do the same.
  • Responsible for annual quota assignment and bonus plan Submitted individually and then completed in collaboration with the agency owner and leadership group.
  • Ownership of quota attainment in all categories including Extremities & Trauma, Sports, Biologics, I&R/Capital Consumables, and Video across Sioux Surgical.
  • Responsible for creating and developing successful, periodic incentive programs such as sales spiffs, contests, campaigns, etc.
  • Lead and manage all Territory and Product Managers as direct reports to
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining leadership mentoring programs for each territory manager, product manager, and territory leader.
  • Manage and coordinate up to date training status for individual representatives, across the agency in collaboration with the medical education manager
  • Responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining a strong efficient relationship between the sales team and operations team.
  • Manage individual territory hiring strategies in collaboration with the agency owner to ensure each team is properly equipped for growth This responsibility includes personnel analysis, writing and posting of job descriptions, and conducting initial interviews.
  • Develop and implement company strategies, operational policies and programs that promote healthy organizational growth.
  • Accountable for presentation of monthly, quarterly and annual performance and information to the agency owner and others as requested.

  • Achieves assigned organizational objectives for sales, training, compliance, and other strategic goals
  • Supports the achievements of strategic objectives critical to other areas of Sioux Surgical

 

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

  • Reports to the Agency Owner
  • Direct report staff includes, area sales managers (AM) and product sales managers (PM)
  • Provides indirect leadership and collaboration with the Director of Operations, Field Logistics, Finance, and Human Resources.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 year college degree from an accredited institution
  • MBA (preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of sales management experience with business to business sales environment
  • Leadership skills
  • Analytical skills

 

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires extensive travel
