Description

An Ortho Sales Associate is an entry-level position. The sales specialist must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communication and in-person appointments. As an Ortho Sales Associate, your primary functions include assisting team members in daily duties to achieve an understanding of the product and situations of the Ortho Sales Specialist. The right candidate must advance current customer relations and establish new ties through constant communications and in-person appointments alone and with team members. The training will help open the door for becoming a technical expert for these products within their team. The technical expert will use their knowledge to educate customers, support agency employees, and consult with surgeons in the operating room.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent Cornerstone Medical Associates, an authorized agency of Arthrex, a leader in the Orthopedic industry, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals
  • Address any problems that arise at the account level
  • Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and company policies & procedures
  • Maintain training in product features/benefits and other critical business applications
  • Participate in and attend sales and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as necessary
  • Ability to lift upwards of 40 pounds regularly for multiple tray transportations and extensive heavy lifting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedics industry
  • Two years of sales success preferred
  • Excellent communication, planning, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to comfortably present to 10 or more people in complex negotiations
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Preferred
  • Demonstrate initiative, a sense of urgency, and the ability to make decisions and take responsibility for them

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Microsoft Office required
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills are required
  • Strong sense of urgency is important

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • Current Driver’s license
  • Access to your own transportation
