Description

The District Director is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within his or her team’s assigned district. The District Director must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio. Majority of time will be consulting surgeons in the operating room, surgeon office and/or hospital setting which includes coverage of cases, coordination of equipment required for case coverage, and logistics related to hospital billing and replenishment, regarding the use of our implants and instruments. Living the Alon Standard is integral to our strategic planning, team building, and relationship creation.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilties:

  • Convert key surgeons to Arthrex techniques and products by utilizing a high level of technical and surgical Profitably sell Arthrex product lines and exceed assigned quota for the products by utilizing a consultative sales approach and leadership in competitive situations.
  • Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territories within the district. Represent Alon Medical Technology, an independent regional distributor authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.   • Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational
  • Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory
  • Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses (written, telephone and face-to-face).
  • Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become
  • Address any problems that arise in the
  • Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & procedures
  • Work with Sales Manager(s) and Team Lead(s) by receiving and providing coaching, training, or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business
  • Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive
  • Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as
  • This position requires extensive travel within territory with the possibility of weekend work and/or limited overnight
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a regular

 

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
  • 5 plus years demonstrated sales
  • Experience as an associate in the orthopedic industry is a
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room
  • Experience leading highly dynamic teams

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • MS Office
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills are
  • Strong sense of urgency is
  • Flexible schedule – expect to be on call as needed, on weekends,

 

Machine,Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
