Description

Prodigy Surgical is seeking a highly competitive individual with a demonstrated history of performance and success to fulfill Arthrex’s mission of “Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better.” The Associate Sales Representative must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communication, including in-person appointments. This position is responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of Arthrex’s market-leading product portfolio and will be consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of the company’s implants and instruments. This individual will assist the Sales Manager in identifying and executing sales opportunities while participating in all aspects of territory and business management.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Business Acumen

  • Represent Prodigy Surgical, an authorized agency of Arthrex, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in coaching and training directed by Sales Manager.
  • Participate in training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
  • Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.

Client Relations

  • Foster client relations through proactive anticipation of account needs.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates and changes to product portfolio.
  • Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing knowledge in medical education.

Sales

  • Assist the team in meeting and exceeding sales goals for the territory.
  • Implement sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
  • Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products or manage new product
  • introductions as they become available.

General

  • Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and company policies & procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments
  • MS Office
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
  • Strong sense of urgency is important.
