The Multispecialty Endoscopic Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Image & Resection and Capital product(s) sales performance, training, and other activities with the sales force, surgeons, and accounts within his/her respective region. The Multispecialty Endoscopic Sales Manager must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio. Majority of time will be consulting surgeons in the operating room, surgeon office and/or hospital setting which includes coverage of cases, coordination of equipment required for case coverage, and logistics related to hospital billing and replenishment, regarding the use of our implants and instruments.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set business development strategy and asset deployment for agency Endoscopic business. Follow up with key constituents frequently to ensure strategy is being executed. When needed, identify weaknesses, and offer evidence-based solutions.
  • Launch Endoscopic new products within region. Re-launch when necessary.
  • Assisting technical representatives with evaluation and closing activities with key customers and reporting back to key constituents on representative sales readiness as it relates to Endoscopy.
  • Training representatives on I&R + Capital products and sales cycle as needed.
  • Collecting key competitive information and ensuring that knowledge drives both sales effectiveness and product development direction.
  • Coaching, teaching, and when necessary directing Capital team via conference calls and in person visits on products/sales strategy/competitive info.
  • Engage current and identify new Key Opinion Leaders for Local, Regional, and National peer to peer interactions.
  • Convert key surgeons to Arthrex techniques and products by utilizing a high level of technical and surgical knowledge. Profitably sell Arthrex product lines and exceed assigned quota for the products by utilizing a consultative sales approach and leadership in competitive situations.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
  • Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
  • Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
  • Address any problems that arise at the account.
  • Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & procedures.
  • Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
  • This position requires extensive travel within territory with the possibility of weekend work and/or limited overnight travel.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience directly related to marketing/product management, sales, or engineering of orthopedic, electromechanical RF devices or a minimum of 5 years clinical, orthopedic experience using electromechanical RF devices preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience related to marketing/product management, sales, pre-clinical, engineering of endoscopic/capital equipment/orthopedic devices
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market
  • 2-5 years demonstrated sales success in competitive B2B industry.
  • Experience as an associate in the orthopedic industry is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • MS Office required.
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
  • Strong sense of urgency is important.
  • Flexible schedule – expect to be on call as needed, on weekends, holidays.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • Current Driver’s license.
  • Access to your own transportation & auto-insurance.
