Evolution Surgical, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Sales Consultant to join our dedicated team in San Francisco Bay Area. We are a dynamic and independent Agency authorized to sell Arthrex products. The Surgical Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within his or her team's assigned territory. S/He must establish, build and maintain customer relations through excellent communications and in person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market leading product portfolio. You will be consulting with surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent Evolution Surgical, Inc. while working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed territory objectives and goals.
  • Increase territory volume by identifying new sales opportunities and develop necessary sales plans to develop new business.
  • Cultivate and maintain an excellent rapport with clients to nurture longstanding relationships.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding product updates, changes to product portfolio, new techniques and educational programs.
  • Maintain an accurate proprietary customer relationship management (CRM) database, which includes: forecasting, lead generation and account maintenance.
  • Ongoing training in sales skills, product features/benefits, hospital protocols and other organizational requirements.
  • Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Responsibly maintain inventory of consigned products.
  • Maintain credentialing requirements for ongoing access to all accounts.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2‐5 years demonstrated sales success in competitive B2B industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
  • Experience as an associate in the orthopedic industry is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments.
  • Desire to learn and command a high level of technical information, anatomy and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Current Driver’s license with clear motor vehicle record
  • Access to your own transportation
  • Clear drug screen
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, ERP system experience
