Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for managing, planning, organizing, marketing, attending and any other duties related to running a successful Medical Education event for Alon Medical Technology. Events include but may not be limited to:
    • Surgeon Cadaver, Soft Model or Saw bone model labs in the office, mobile lab or clinic
    • Surgeon traveling labs to any Arthrex sponsored lab event in the US or Europe
    • Physician Assistant training labs local or traveling
    • Rep trainings. Local and Traveling
    • Alon Medical Technology Sponsored Exhibit or Meeting
    • Arthrex sponsored Exhibit or Meeting
  2. Liaison between Arthrex Medical Education department and Alon Medical Technology. This will require at least one trip per year to Arthrex headquarters in Naples, FL or other location for annual meeting
  3. Communicate regularly with Alon Medical Sales Force to determine medical education needs. When a need is determined, work with Alon Medical management to organize a Medical Education event to meet those needs
  4. Read and stay current on Research Articles from the journals that Alon Medical subscribes to. Communicate relevant research to the sales force
  5. Manage Arthrex’s Surgical Outcomes System (SOS) and OrthoIllustrated for Alon Medical. This may include meeting and educating surgeons and administration on the benefits of utilizing these systems in their practice. This may be done in person or via WebEx
  6. Stay current and be the expert on all current and new products and/or surgical techniques that Arthrex has available or launches and can effectively communicate and teach the benefits and safe and effective use of these products or techniques to surgeons, PA’s and sales force
  7. Maintain inventory of lab supplies, samples and exhibit items. This may require ordering in supplies from Arthrex prior to a lab, meeting or exhibit
  8. Responsible for properly ordering, storing and disposing of cadaver parts and medical waste materials
  9. Responsible for set-up and clean-up/disinfecting local and Mobile lab observing all blood-borne pathogen and related safety procedures
  10. Manage continuing education for Alon Medical Technology sales force
  11. Assist new hires and current Sales Representatives with Onboarding process using Arthrex Global University
  12. Team player in the office. Help in day to day operations when time permits

Qualifications/Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of Clinical Training
  • Master’s level degree in Health Science (PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED)
  • 5+ years of Orthopedic Industry Knowledge (PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED)

Travel Required:

  • Arthrex and Industry Trainings and Meetings 4-6 times per year. Regular travel within Alon Medical Territory. Whatever it takes to get the job done effectively (100% to Arthrex Defined Quota) and efficiently
