Description

The Arthroplasty Sales Manager will promote and enhance all sales initiatives, activities and objectives. Management will include but not be limited to focused sales progress tracking, key product performance, key account penetration, KOL relationships and Technology Consultant development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Represent Gotham Surgical an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals. Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.
  • Become an expert in all product categories.
  • Achieve assigned quota objectives.
  • Focused daily and monthly sales progress monitoring and reporting to the region.
  • Work closely with product management to efficiently launch new products,
  • Manage the annual focused product initiatives.
  • Create and implement strategies in efficiency including but not limited to: daily activities (schedules), inventory management (within the team), direct account product purchases vs delivery of products, implementing strict 20-day PO collection process.
  • Monthly update report to the VP of Sales due the first week of each month. Main topics to be covered are the previous 30 days achievements and plans/objectives for the upcoming month.
  • Represent Gotham Surgical and Arthrex at various industry meetings.
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
  • Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
  • Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market
  • 5+ years demonstrated sales success in competitive B2B industry.
  • Experience as an associate in the orthopedic industry.
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments.



Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • MS Office required.
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
  • Strong sense of urgency is important.



Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • Current Driver’s license.
  • Access to your own transportation
