We are looking for…

  • Team players – Exceeding the needs of our surgeon customers requires a great team. Nothing is more important to our future than being a great teammate.
  • Enthusiasts – We are honored to represent Arthrex and their mission of helping surgeons treat their patients better. We will always work in accordance with the goals of our surgeon clients first.
  • Champions – We are committed to being the most knowledgeable resources in the industry. We continuously aim to provide consistent, world-class customer service experiences to our customers.

About the Role

Our Clinical Specialists are trained through a comprehensive medical education program involving anatomy, biomechanics, surgical techniques, intraoperative problem solving, product design and surgical outcome data collection. Although the Clinical Specialist is not in a sales role, this position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of the Arthrex product line and clinical procedures. A person in this role consults surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments while attending multiple operations daily.

Many team members in this role are experienced, certified athletic trainers who can utilize their sports medicine education to assist surgeons in the operating room on familiar procedures like ACL, Rotator Cuff, and Labrum repairs. This role is ideal for someone who loves to teach – both in the operating room and in the lab.

Our Clinical Specialist training program is rigorous, but proven. During the first year of training, a person in this role will observe over 500 surgical procedures.

A person in this role must be able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly, have a current driver’s license, and access to his/her own transportation.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned, as required, by management. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the Bio-Medical Sciences, Athletic Training, or related field.
  • Clinical background of 2+ years preferred.
  • Experience as an Orthopedic PA or RN also acceptable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to react and adjust quickly to change, and come up with practical ideas for problem-solving.

What we can offer you…

  • Competitive salary.

  • Training and career development opportunities.
