El sistema de clavos trocantéricos de Arthrex de última generación aborda las deficiencias restantes de los sistemas actuales y consta de tres tipos de clavos: corto, largo y el innovador clavo ES.
Tornillo de tracción telescópico: el colapso autónomo dentro del tornillo de tracción evita la irritación lateral del tornillo de tracción.
Opción de clavo ES: combina las ventajas mecánicas de un clavo largo con la facilidad de un clavo corto. Se extiende a través del istmo, reduciendo los aumentos de tensión en la punta distal, los posibles efectos de "péndulo" y los riesgos de fracturas periprotésicas asociadas con los clavos cortos.1&nbsp;
Aumento biológico: permite la administración de productos ortobiológicos (cemento BoneSync™, plasma rico en plaquetas Angel®, AlloSync Pure™, etc.) a través de la instrumentación del tornillo de tracción, antes del asentamiento final del tornillo.
Instrumentación avanzada: diseñada para reducir los puntos quirúrgicos dolorosos y facilitar el flujo de trabajo quirúrgico.

Procedure

The Arthrex trochanteric nail is a next-generation hip nail that addresses the remaining shortcomings of current systems and consists of three nail types—short nail, long nail, and the innovative ES nail.
Telescoping Lag Screw—Self-contained collapse within the lag screw prevents lateral lag screw irritation.
ES Nail Option—Combines the mechanical advantages of a long nail with the ease of a short nail. It extends through the isthmus of the bone, which can reduce distal-tip stress risers, potential “pendulum” effects, and risks of periprosthetic fractures associated with short nails.1 The ES hole is easily targeted through the nail jig.
Biological Augmentation—Allows for the delivery of orthobiologics (BoneSync™ cement, autologous blood products, AlloSync Pure™, etc) through the lag screw instrumentation, prior to final screw seating.
Advanced Instrumentation—Designed to reduce surgical pain points and facilitate surgical workflow.
