FibuLock® PRO Fibular Nail

Backed by years of literature, fibular nailing is the new “gold standard"1 to treating all fractures of the ankle. The FibuLock nail is a load-sharing device that is inserted through a small incision to stabilize the fracture during healing. This minimally invasive technique reduces wound complications, preserves soft tissue, and is indicative of lower overall complication rates.2 The FibuLock PRO fibular nail is an improved solution that provides surgeons with more options for treating ankle fractures. Longer-length nails, headless screws, additional fixation capabilities as well as modular instrumentation are included of the new systematic design. Additionally, the new nail offers a way to obtain and maintain length intraoperatively. Lastly, our novel proximal talons open 12% wider than the FibuLock 1.0 nail3 thus providing more robust fixation and rotational control.
