Arthrex Hosts the Collier County Lodging & Tourism Alliance for Medical Tourism Presentation

On Wednesday, April 25, 2012, Arthrex hosted the Collier County Lodging & Tourism Alliance (CCTLA) for a breakfast meeting and medical tourism presentation at the Medical Education Center of its corporate headquarters in Naples, FL. Arthrex Founder and President Reinhold Schmieding presented to the group about Arthrex’s rich history and commitment to the community, and the company’s contribution to the local tourism economy through its medical education program for healthcare professionals.

Medical education is a significant cornerstone of Arthrex, and the company’s corporate headquarters in Naples serves as an education destination for surgeons from around the world to learn about new products and techniques through hands-on surgical skills training programs. In 2012, Arthrex will bring a projected 10,000 visitors to Naples and contribute an estimated $10 million in tourism spending to the local economy.

CCTLA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing regional issues of mutual importance to the tourism industry and the community.
