The Acromioclavicular Joint Reconstruction product family is made up of multiple systems used in various forms of AC reconstruction. These sophisticated systems include the instrumentation necessary to complete acute and chronic AC joint repair techniques. Systems include Dog Bone Button, AC TightRope, Twin Tail TightRope, Chronic AC Joint Reconstruction and AC Joint Master Set.

The <a href="https://www.arthrex.com/shoulder/ac-tightrope" data-new-window="true" title="AC TightRope®" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">AC TightRope®</a> enables surgeons to easily reconstruct acute AC joint separations in a minimally invasive manner, either open or arthroscopic. The Chronic AC Joint Reconstruction System assists with the reconstruction of chronic AC joint separation anatomically using a tendon graft with backup mechanical fixation, and the AC Joint Master System contains the instrumentation necessary to complete the acute and chronic AC joint repair techniques and can often be used as part of the above constructs.

The Glenoid Bone Loss Set helps surgeons address the complex issue of shoulder instability caused by bony pathology such as anterior glenoid bone loss, bony Bankart, glenoid fracture or engaging Hill-Sachs lesions. It includes unique instrumentation and implants to make the open Latarjet technique more consistent and repeatable, including:

The Glenoid Bone Loss Set helps surgeons address the complex issue of shoulder instability caused by bony pathology such as anterior glenoid bone loss, bony Bankart, glenoid fracture or engaging Hill-Sachs lesions.

The Modular Soft Tissue Retractor is a versatile adjunct to soft tissue approaches throughout the body. It has a self-locking and self-retaining design with modular paddles that allow it to be adapted to multiple soft tissue uses.
Muscle-splitting approaches about the shoulder, including Mini-Open rotator cuff repair, are ideal for this retractor. The retractor allows firm, yet safe, exposure and its self-locking design allows the shoulder to be moved throughout a range of motion without the retractor becoming dislodged.
The use of the Modular Soft Tissue Retractor allows for more minimally invasive approaches to accomplish surgical, technical goals that previously have been relegated to more open procedures. The use of this retractor with Mini-Open surgical techniques and arthroscopic surgery can afford improved technical and surgical outcomes.

The Shoulder Arthroscopy Instrument System is a modular and customizable instrument system that can accommodate a comprehensive selection of instruments to facilitate arthroscopic shoulder repairs. The configured set contains a selection of the most popular and latest instruments, including a quick-connect system for portal dilation, cannula insertion, and tissue preparation, as determined by leading upper extremity surgeons.

Shoulder Arthroscopy Instrument System 

The Shoulder Repair Set is a comprehensive selection of specialty instruments to facilitate arthroscopic shoulder repairs. The set contains the most popular instruments as determined by leading upper extremity surgeons. A wide variety of arthroscopic suturing instruments facilitates multiple options to deal with most anatomical variations. Cannulated obturators ease portal dilation and insertion of various diameter clear cannulas over a Switching Stick or Wissinger Rod. The autoclavable, anodized aluminum case has two custom removal racks for suturing instruments and cannula obturators. Additional instruments can be added.

Shoulder Set

The Arthrex Tissue Elevator and Bone Preparation System combines new tip designs and a modular handle to provide the ultimate selection of tools for work in the glenohumeral joint and subacromial space. A wide variety of Tissue Elevators, Rasps, Curettes, and Chondro Picks all come contained in one system.

The Bio-Tenodesis™ Screw System, which includes the <a href="https://www.arthrex.com/shoulder/tenodesis-screws" title="Tenodesis Screw™">Tenodesis Screw™</a>, was designed specifically for the reattachment of ligament and tendon soft tissue to bone. The Bio-Tenodesis Driver facilitates accurate graft tensioning into a bony socket in a simple “push-in” method. The interference fit provided by the Tenodesis Screw and FiberWire virtually eliminates graft separation from the bone. The strength of the repair achieved with the system allows patients to generally begin postoperative rehab earlier than previously permitted. The Bio-Tenodesis Screws are composed of PLLA and are available in numerous sizes to fit all applications. There are also titanium and PEEK Tenodesis Screws available for use with the system, if desired. The system is ideal for the reattachment of soft tissue to bone in upper extremity procedures including rotator cuff repairs, proximal/distal biceps tenodesis andacromioclavicular joint reconstruction.
